From the representatives of the Russian-speaking community, The Venom was streamed by the Ukrainian poker player, the famous Dota 2 player Ilya “Alohadance” Korobkin. He plays at WPN under the nickname “trxmrzwmshoe”. Ilya introduced two buy-ins. In the decisive spot, he could not win a coin for a pot of more than 100 big blinds.

Jonathan “apestyles” Van Fleet (Jonathan Van Fleet) claims to be the main sponsor of The Venom. On Day 1B, he implemented 3 buy-ins (and another on Day 1A), but was never able to advance to Day 2.

The Venom $ 10M GTD Overlay Chance

Venom is coming to PokerKing for the fifth time. Interestingly, the event never took place with an overlay:

This time the tournament is held with a $ 10M guarantee (with a minimum of $ 1M guarantee for the champion and runner-up). 4,000 entries must be collected to cover the warranty. After two flights, there are 1,561 entries. Given that Day C and D are usually the most popular, the probability of an overlay is rather low.

There are two flights and a combined day ahead (start at 20:00 Moscow time):

  • Friday 30 July – Day 1C
  • Sunday 1st August – Day 1B
  • Monday 2 August – Day 2

Direct satellites continue to run to The Venom with buy-ins ranging from $ 15 to $ 880.
