Omaholic Series results and start of 6+ Short Deck Series at GG

GGPOKEROK is rapidly taking over the non-Hold’em disciplines markets. Following the Omaholic Series, the poker room launched the Short Deck Series with tournaments of 6+. We share the results of the main tournaments of the Omaha series and tell how the shortdeck series started.

Omaholic Series II: how was the second Omah series in history at GG

In March 2021, the first Omaha series turned out to be very successful: guarantees fought, the players liked the format (NL Postflop Omaha), overlays were rare.

The second batch was reduced to 7 days (instead of 14), and the warranty to $ 5M (instead of $ 7M). And the summer series turned out to be less successful than the debut one: every second event it was with overlay, and one of the most expensive daily tournaments for $ 3,150 became single table sit-and-go with re-entry.

The first series had two Main Events: $ 400 (with overlay) and $ 55 (without overlay). On the second series of the $ 52.50 Omaholic Bounty MILLION $ Main Event, the $ 400K GTD collected 7,690 entries, with an overlay of $ 15,500. The victory was celebrated by an unknown player from Finland under the nickname “Galuboi”.

$ 52.50 Omaholic Bounty MILLION $ Main Event Final Table Results (KOs included):

  1. Galuboi — $29.7K
  2. peace_0857 — $18K
  3. Is Phil Way — $11,5K
  4. Zohryos — $13,7K
  5. 19_01 — $5,8K
  6. applepi — $4,8K
  7. Bracsthewraps — $5K

An interesting action took place on the last day in the most expensive tournaments. IN $10,300 Omaholic Super High Roller for 39 players, four got into the prizes. The most productive player in the series became the champion Dante Fernandez (this is his name in the lobby, but the media calls him Dante Goya):

  1. Dante Fernandes – $ 142.6K
  2. judd trump — $107K
  3. Jonas Kronwitter – $ 80.2K
  4. Ronny Kaiser – $ 60.1K

IN $5,250 Omaholic High Roller on 40 entries celebrated a victory Raphael Schreiner (Raphael Schreiner). For the first place, along with the bounty, he earned $ 62K. At GGPOKEROK, Schreiner only plays Omaha NL-Postflop. Here is his entertaining chart on SharkScope.

R. Schreiner Chart Drops To - $ 94.6K

Victory in $3,150 Omaholic Bounty King HR Gavin Cochrane celebrated at 43 entries. In heads-up he beat Andras Nemeth himself and earned $ 52K.
